About Lucille J. Bradley

Lucille J. Bradley lived in Conroe for more than 90 years and taught second grade in Conroe ISD for thirty years. She attended school in the 1920s and 30s at Conroe College, which was an elementary to college level school that served the black population. She was one of two women to receive a lifetime achievement award at Washington Junior High after the annual Black History Parade. Her kind heart and compassion impacted many lives in the community. Mrs. Bradley passed away on January 12, 2014 at the age of 100.
