Welcome to Namesake Monday! Irons Junior High is named after Gerald D. Irons Sr.—an NFL linebacker, businessman, community servant, and man of faith and integrity. He believed in excellence through discipline and leadership through service. At Irons JH, we don’t just carry his name—we live by his example.

In observance of Juneteenth, all Conroe ISD offices and campuses will be closed on Thursday, June 19th.

Hey Hawks! The deadline to purchase pre-packaged school supplies is approaching. The kits are $75, they can be purchased online and will be ready to pick up for your convenience at our Schedule Pick up on 8/5. We will have a very limited number of kits for sale on that day for cash only.

On this day, we remember those who sacrificed for our freedom.

We’re excited to welcome back our former students who are graduating from ORHS! Seniors are invited to participate in a Senior Walk at Irons Jr. High on Friday, May 16th at 11:45 AM. We can’t wait to see our Hawks who became War Eagles and are now ready to soar!

Over the next few weeks, campuses across the District, including ours, will be launching a new website. When that happens, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the refreshed design and set new bookmarks for your browsing convenience. You can also download the new Conroe ISD app in your device’s app store and begin customizing the pages and news you want to see.

Join us on May 5th in the Irons Cafeteria from 5:30PM - 7:30PM for our Cultural Craft Night & ESL Showcase. We will be making crafts celebrating different cultures. Visitors may also view the creative projects made by our amazing ESL students. Hope to see you there.
